Ahlstrom APT pumps are built for continuous, reliable operation and long-term pumping economy. We have combined
unique Ahlstrom innovations like ROTOKEY and AIRSEP to improve performance, plus the best features from our long
experience in stock pumping technology.
Features:
- The self-venting, top centerline casing prevents air-lock.
- The sideplate is adjusted externally to maintain a constant impeller clearance and continuous high efficiency.
- A choice of impeller designs. Open impellers provide smooth transfer of stock up to a consistency of 7%. Other
impeller designs are available, including special impellers for stock containing knots and long fibers, and closed
impellers for cleaner process liquids.
- ROTOKEY impeller mounting provides stronger, more reliable power transmission. It is self-locking and reverse
rotation safe. ROTOKEY facilitates the installation and removal of the impeller. It is non-sensitive to axial loads
created during pump operation.
- AIRSEP degassing enables the transfer of stock with up to 20% air content. It improves efficiency, stabilizes
the process and cuts costs.
- Dynamic seal, various mechanical seals, and packed stuffing boxes are available.
