Ethanol

Fluid Process Equipment has extensive involvement and knowledge of ethanol production in the states of Michigan, Wisconsin and Indiana, where we represent Sulzer Process Pumps, Yamada air diaphragm, Iwaki Sealless, Prominent metering, Roper gear, Wemco self priming and Moyno progressing cavity pumps.

Sulzer Process Pumps are proven to be the pump of choice at seven (7) of these plants, where our sales engineers personally service with spare parts, technical expertise and repairs. As a result of our relationship with these plants and our 25 year association with Sulzer Process Pumps, we have extensive knowledge in both Sulzer pumps and the ethanol business.

Sulzer centrifugal pumps perform trouble free in all forty-five plus main services from fermentors and evaporators to critical services like liquifaction and process water. Sulzers' double suction split case Z pump is used for the cooling tower water pumps.

We also provide positive displacement pumps like Yamada air operated diaphragm pumps for yeast recirculation, Roper Gear Pumps for ethanol loadout service and Wemco self primers for the ethanol plant floor sumps.

We can also provide the liquid ring vacuum pump for the distillation process and the Prominent chemical metering pumps in the boiler area and cooling tank management. Sealless magnetic drive pumps by Iwaki America are suited for chemical fluids and no pump leakage.

We are also the authorized John Crane mechanical seal distributor for the states of Michigan and Indiana. All of the ethanol plants we support use John Crane seals.
