FPE History
Founded and incorporated in 1985 by Glyn and Susan Lake, Fluid Process Equipment continues to excel in sales and service in the pumping industry. FPE has grown from three people in 1985 to 30 in 2008. In 2010, we are celebrating our 25th year anniversary.
In 2003, our growth required us to move into our state of the art facility in the Western Michigan Business Technology and Research Park in Kalamazoo Michigan. Our office and warehouse is strategically located off interstate 131 and 94. This facility encompasses 25,000 square feet of office, repair and warehouse use.
In 1999, we were awarded the Sulzer Process Pump authorized distributor territory for the state of Wisconsin. We have a satellite office located in Kaukauna, Wisconsin.
In 1991, we opened our Livonia office to serve the Detroit metro area. We have four sales engineers covering the greater Detroit area. We also have a satellite office in Alpena Michigan, which covers the northern Lower Peninsula and Upper Peninsula. Our staff of eighteen professional inside and outside sales representatives and engineers are ready to provide sound, experienced advice with solutions to customer's needs. To meet the toughest pumping applications, our parts department is staffed by four qualified inside people who supply immediate service with the aid of our integrated computer system. Our well-stocked warehouse and factory-trained technicians help insure minimal downtime for pump repairs and emergencies.
